About Pacific Skyways
At Pacific Skyways School of Paragliding, we teach beginning through intermediate students how to fly well. Our philosophy as both instructors of paragliding and students of paragliding is that of continuous learning and feedback.
We are committed to your success as a student. We structure our courses so that you control your progress. We offer structured coaching, mentoring, trips, and competency reviews throughout your training. We are partnered with and train with internationally known and acclaimed schools including Super Fly Paragliding and O'Connor Flight Schools on our quest to excel at paragliding.
Our Instructors
I learned to fly in 1996 in the bay area and since then have flown all over the world. I love every flight I take from the idyllic coastal soaring with the Golden Gate in the background to the beautiful mountaintop glides to the valley floors below. In addition to regular life, my travels, and flying at the local sites, I have taken time each year to continue learning through clinics, courses, and attending paragliding events. These past years I've had a blast learning how to do aerobatics with Ann and Enleau O'Connor, Nik Peterson, and Guiseppi Frie and ended up competing at the two venerable US aerobatics competitions, the Red Bull Wings over Cleveland and the Seattle Aerobattle.

Jeff Wishnie
I've been paragliding in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1996 a year after I first saw paragliders in France.

For the past two years I have been competing actively on an international level—flying the US, Mexican, and Australian national championships.

I love teaching and flying, whether with brand new students or the world's best pilots.

Greg Babush
Greg began paragliding in 2002 at Alyeska Ski Resort in Girdwood, Alaska. He's lived the last 4 years in Telluride, Colorado, and when he's not working film festivals or on photo assignments he can be found at cloudbase flying his new Gin Boomerang Sport.

Greg spent the last winter flying the endless summer, traveling and competing in paragliding competitions in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Fiji and Australia. Greg is an internationally ranked paraglider pilot who's goal is to move this summer from his current ranking of 165 in the world into the top 100.

—Simon, P2 graduate
"It has been my pleasure to work with Jeff and Tim. They share my vision that learning to fly should be fun and easy, while being safe. I have learned a trick or two from them."
